Notes on payments, item-level receipts, fraud, reconciliation, accounting, and the data layer behind every transaction. Written for Australian merchants and the customers they serve.
SyncPay Pty Ltd operates a fintech infrastructure platform that generates cryptographic transaction codes (SPTC) linking card payments to itemised receipt data. These Terms govern your use of syncpay.au and all associated services.
2 · Acceptance
By accessing or using SyncPay you agree to these Terms. They apply to all users, businesses, consumers, accountants, and API integrators.
3–5 · Use & Accounts
Use the service lawfully. Customer and Consumer user classes have separate account and billing rules. Keep your credentials secure.
6 · Billing
Merchants are not charged for the merchant portal or for the receipt records generated from their transactions. Paid partner arrangements are set out in a separate written agreement.
SyncPay collects transaction metadata (merchant, amount, date, SPTC code) to enable receipt lookup and reconciliation. We do not store full card numbers or PII beyond what you explicitly provide.
Consumer Privacy
Consumers retain full control. Bank data is encrypted; you can revoke access anytime. SPTC lookups are anonymous — no login required.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain data for billing and legal compliance. You can request erasure under GDPR. Deleted data is purged within 30 days.
